With all the advertising imagery bombarding us in today’s cities, what time and what capability do we still have to come up with our own thoughts and ideas? Perhaps we’ve lost a portion of our creativity and are paying the subsequent price.

With thoughts like these running across our minds, we are making a video exploring the effect of consumerism on consciousness. The different elements of the project, shooting, editing, writing, and music were all begun independently with the central concept in mind. Now, in the edit room, we are bringing the somewhat disparate elements into a cohesive whole. The process is long but “experimenting” is something you do in the back room, in your spare time, with the lights low.
